Caravan Holiday Park Cornwall

Cornwall Popular Attractions

If you're looking to take a trip away from your caravan park, then take a look at some of the popular visitor attractions Cornwall has to offer.

Eden Project

One of Cornwall’s newest attractions, Eden Project gives visitors the chance to explore a global garden with plants and flowers from around the world. Owned wholly by an educational charity, The Eden Trust, the purpose is to educate and remind us all about what nature provides for us and to show us how we can help nature by return.

Eden Project features the world’s largest dome containing two biospheres’ for you to explore. The Humid Tropical part features a jungle environment and the plant-life you would find in this climate and the Warm Temperate section displays plants that can be found in the Mediterranean, South Africa and California.

Flambards Theme Park

There is plenty to see and do when you come to Flambards, Cornwall’s ultimate theme park. Not only are there some of the best rides including the famous Hornet Rollercoaster, Canon River Log Flume as well as the Extreme Force (the name says it all!) but you can also get to see what Britain looked like in years gone by in the Victorian Village, Britain in the Blitz and Memory Lane displays.

Make sure that you take a visit to Mark’s Ark where you can find out about different types of animals including snakes, spiders, owls etc. At the end of the show you can even get the chance to hold some of the animals…if you’re brave enough.

Tintagel Castle

If you are looking for somewhere different to visit during your stay in Cornwall, why not take a trip to the ruins of Tintagel Castle which is famous due its association with King Arthur who was said to have been born on Tintagel Island.

The Castle is set on a picturesque headland that is virtually an island, connected to the mainland by a slim finger of land. Over the years much of the castle has fallen into the sea and very little remains today. Access to the castle is via at least 100 steep steps so make sure that you wear some sturdy shoes. Below the castle on the Castle Beach is Merlin’s cave which can only be accessed during low tide.
